Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone. FinVault One runs no servers that store your records. If you turn on iCloud sync, your data stays in your own private iCloud database, accessible only to you.
How do I move my data to a new iPhone?
Settings, then Export Encrypted Backup. Save the file, then use Import Backup on the new device and enter your passphrase. No cloud account required.
I forgot my backup passphrase.
For your security the backup is encrypted and cannot be recovered without the passphrase. Keep it somewhere safe, such as a password manager.
How do I turn on Face ID or Touch ID lock?
Settings, then App Lock, then enable “Require Face ID”. The app locks immediately and whenever you return to it after the time you choose.
How do I manage or cancel FinVault Pro?
FinVault Pro is an auto-renewing annual subscription managed by Apple. On your iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then FinVault. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
How do I delete everything?
Settings, then Privacy & Your Rights, then erase all data. Because your data is local, this removes it from the device immediately.
