Terms of Use
These terms supplement, and do not replace, the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA), which also governs your use of FinVault One (the “app”). By using the app, you agree to both.
Subscription
FinVault Pro is an annual, auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple Account settings; access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. We do not process payments and have no access to your payment details — Apple handles billing under its own terms.
Encrypted backups — please read
Backups you export from FinVault One are encrypted with a passphrase only you hold. If you lose that passphrase, the backup cannot be decrypted or recovered by you, by us, or by anyone else. Keep your passphrase somewhere safe, such as a password manager. We are not liable for data loss resulting from a lost or forgotten passphrase.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is.” While we built it to work reliably, we don’t guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. You’re responsible for verifying renewal dates, amounts, and other details the app surfaces — including anything read from a scanned document — before relying on them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including a missed renewal, payment, or deadline, or data loss from a forgotten backup passphrase. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
[Governing law and jurisdiction to be confirmed with counsel.]
Changes
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date above will change accordingly.
